kyle@virtualadminksc.com Work Smarter – Not Harder I have been doing administrative support work for more than 18 years, have an Associates Degree in Business Administration, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis on Management. I have a record of outstanding success in the executive administrative field, with increasing responsibility, for the Department of Energy’s prime contractors at the Grand Junction Office. As a contractor employee, I worked directly for numerous Department of Energy project managers from 1992 through 1996 and for the MACTEC-ERS engineering contractor from 1996 through 2000. I was also an office manager for one of the subcontractors, Weston Solutions, Inc. (formerly R. F. Weston). My experience encompasses administrative and clerical duties of a wide array of skills and abilities. This includes the successful performance of client (governmental and public) interface, human resource representative, correspondence, detailed proofreading, travel arrangements, expertise in the areas of WordPerfect, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and knowledge in other computer software such as QuickBooks Pro 2000, Excel, Publisher, Access, Harvard Graphics, and Lotus. I am also a member and current officer/board member of the local Book Cliff Chapter of the International Association of Administrative Professionals and Membership Chair for the Mesa County Women’s Network. Although I enjoyed the corporate world, I am now working from my home office providing the same top-level of support to clients. As an AssistU graduate, I love the flexibility and the challenges of working from a home office! Virtual Assistance is a great new trend for the small business owner and entrepreneur to grow their businesses with a dedicated and highly skilled partner. I can partner with clients to help them re-focus on their business, personal life, hobbies, or spiritual life while I focus on the things clients should not have to handle. Some of the things I can help with are:
A little bit about *me* - I am a Western Colorado Native, enjoy sports, camping, fishing, dirt biking, just bought a motorcycle, and enjoy all sorts of activities. I am also a soap maker in my spare time! The creativity of developing soap and seeing the final product is extremely relaxing and gratifying. |
